Mr. Hill has over thirty (30) years of proactive Human Resources and Diversity management experience at Fortune 100 companies. His experience includes College Career Placement, over nine years of consumer electronics and retail; over three years in satellite communications, and sixteen years in pharmaceutical Human Resource management. Mr. Hill has progressed and managed staff sizes from 2 to 38 supporting from 300 to 50,000 employees at the Plant, Company, and Corporate Headquarters levels in the U.S. and worldwide.
Mr. Hill has lead innovative HR efforts to form business strategy and growth while reducing costs, created unique organizations and appointing "out of the box" Executives to non-traditional HR roles. This included placing high potential Sales and Marketing managers in the HR division. Mr. Hill was also a valued leader and contributor to developing Johnson & Johnson's launch of it's first "INNOVATION STRATEGY".
As the original Founder and Chair of the J&J African Amercian Leadership Council, Mr. Hill influenced the creation of J&J's Office of Diversity and led the AALC to significant impact in African American promotions and talent acquisition from 2000 to 2007.
Mr. Hill was Vice President Human Resources and responsible for HR strategy and tactics at Janssen Pharmaceuticals (a Division of J&J) over 11 years as the company grew from $800 million to approximately $4 billion in sales. His team installed HR and Performance Management systems that were driven by the business strategy. "Organization and People Excellence" was one of three areas of strategic focus for the company.
In his last role as Vice President Diversity for the Worldwide Pharmaceuticals Group. Mr. Hill worked to create and influence the development of "Diverse Markets Strategies" for the growth of Johnson & Johnson.
Mr. Hill operates on the principle of maxmizing organization effectiveness through strengthening leadership and unleashing the advantages resident in diverse employees.
