Jacqueline E. Baptiste

Executive Advisor to AACCNJ, Founder, President & CEO & Brand Ambassador

Jacqueline E. Baptiste has served as the Executive Assistant to the Founder, President and CEO of the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (AACCNJ), since 2011. On a daily basis, as a Chamber executive, Jacqueline executes the mission of the Chamber, on behalf of the Board of Directors and members of the AACCNJ, as part of a cohesive professional staff, that continues to deliver on the value proposition of the AACCNJ.


Jacqueline is responsible for interface on behalf of the CEO with the AACCNJ, Board of Directors, corporate sponsors, and public and private sector partners along with providing excellent support for the AACCNJ Chief Executive Officer. Jacqueline has the responsibility of Board Reporting, Scheduling –for the CEO’s Calendar & Correspondence - Meetings, Speaking Engagements, Board Affiliations, Corporate Interface, and Engagement. Additionally - Management of AACCNJ ‘s Signature Annual Events – Oversee and Execute all aspects of Calendar of Events – Outreach for speakers, panelists, sponsors, venues, etc., Proposals for AACCNJ General Support, Special Initiatives – Grant Reporting &; Project Management. Lastly, Sponsorship & Outreach – for events and membership. Management of AACCNJ Marketing Department - Branded

Marketing; Social Media, Eblast Marketing, Broadcast Messaging, Chamber Literature, Press Releases, Announcements, and Information for AACCNJ Website; Management of Adjunct Staff for Volunteer Opportunities at AACCNJ events; Review of all vendor proposals for HQ and Operations; Co-Production of Gold Telly Award Winning Television Show; and The Chamber Perspective, i.e. guest line-up. Executed the full Event Management & Production of AACCNJ Virtual 2020 – 2021 Calendar of Events during the Covid 19 Pandemic, ensuring a seamless continuation of the Relevance, Awareness and Value of the AACCNJ. “In this environment the organization has thrived because we met the challenge of the moment, with a clear assessment and adaption to the current environment. That mindset is what propels me through each day,short term and long terms goals and always connecting back to the mission of the Chamber”, Jacqueline E. Baptiste. 

Jacqueline earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Rider University. While at Rider, she was part of a core group of Black students that established a Minority Programming Committee, that was instrumental in bringing black musicians and artists such as George Benson to Rider. Jacqueline remains connected to this core group of students who as post – graduates founded the Lawson McElroy Scholarship Committee, annually a scholarship – based on the group’s contributions is provided to a selected undergraduate student of color. In 2021, the group contributed to establish the McElroy Conference Room in the new  Diversity & Inclusion Center on the Rider Campus. Together the group raised or committed nearly $40,000 in just three months to give back to McElroy, who mentored this group of urban students, that were an experiment, to see if they could be successful in a suburban environment foreign to everything, they were familiar with products of urban environments. Jacqueline and her fellow alumnae went on to excel in every aspect of business, education, finance, politics and state and local government.


Jacqueline’s background includes secondary education at Hamilton HS West, Hamilton, NJ, Corporate Lending on Wall Street, NYC, Investment Banking in Cherry Hill, NJ, Human Resources Management (career outplacement) in Princeton, NJ, and as an Independent Consultant with Arbonne International, a botanical-

based skin care company, and ten years on the mommy-track, investing full-time in her family, to ensure there was exposure to the arts, athletics, community service, and education.


Jacqueline serves on the Board of Greater Trenton, 2022 – present and is an advisory Board Member to the New Jersey Black Women’s Collective (NJBWC) 2023. In 2023, Jacqueline was recognized by ROI-NJ 2023 –Influencers - Women In Business “Heart and soul of the organization — the behind-the-scenes star that ensures fast-growing organization stays on track”, ROI.


Jacqueline has two daughters, Nicole D. Baptiste, I.O.M. and Jacqueline Noelle Baptiste her greatest pride and joy. Currently, Nicole is the Vice President of Member Acquisition &Financial Management at AACCNJ. Prior to working for the AACCNJ, Nicole used her years of formal riding training coupled with her experience

as a part of her Hollins University college equestrian team to teach riding lessons/classes for four years at the Essex Equestrian Center in West Orange, NJ.


Jacqueline Noelle is the Marketing Manager at AACCNJ – where she creates all AACCNJ Branded content. Prior to joining the AACCNJ, Noelle was a freelance graphic design artist where she created marketing plans and branding strategies for small businesses in the Philadelphia and South Jersey region.


Jacqueline is an avid sports fan – Lebron James and Ja Morant top the list of her favorite athletes. In her free time, she enjoys archiving family photographs, mentoring, researching black history, the arts, reading and interior decorating. Jacqueline and her daughters are members of Union Baptist Church of Trenton, NJ.

Jacqueline a native New Yorker, resides in Burlington County, NJ.
